Yvonne Arlene Wilson (Nausadis)

It is with saddened and heavy hearts to announce that Yvonne Arlene Wilson (Nausadis), age 95 of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Sunday February 9, 2025. She is welcomed with open and loving arms of those who have gone before her, her husband of 66 years, Donald, her eldest daughter Laura Wilson, her parents William and Helen Nausadis, her sisters Betty Ferguson and Margie Lucas, her sons-in-laws Dan Dumond and Rick Fiting, and infant great grand-daughter Dorothy Taylor. The matriarch of the Wilson Clan is survived by her children Lawrence (Robin) Wilson, Kevin (Janet) Wilson, Anne (Craig) Johnson, John (Dawn) Wilson, Joel (Terri) Wilson, Jean Wilson, Mary Beth Fiting and Jeffrey Wilson; 20 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Yvonne graduated from Catholic Central High School and from there she met and married her husband Don. In addition to raising their 9 children, she served as a librarian at St. Jude School, was a leader for the Junior Catholic Daughters and was involved in many activities and organizations within the church and school community. Later in life she worked in retail for Plainfield Apparel and eventually retired from Jacobson’s. Yvonne wore many hats over the years and touched many lives in various ways. Yvonne lived a long and full life, which would fill books to write, so to keep it short…we all have our memories, good times and bad, lessons learned, encounters and stories to keep her in our hearts and thoughts forever. Please cherish them and share with others. The memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday March 15 at 11:00 AM at St. Jude Catholic Church. Her family will receive visitors Friday March 14 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW, and at the church one hour prior to the mass. The Rosary will be prayed Friday at 6:30PM at the funeral home. Interment SS. Peter & Paul Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Catholic Church or St. Ann’s Home.
