Patricia Bisbee

Bisbee Patricia Karen Bisbee (Nivala), age 70 God took her gently by the hand at 10:00 a.m. Friday, January 28th, 2011 after a courageous four year battle with cancer. A battle fought with the same poise, dignity and grace that she lived her life. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Maurice and Kathleen Nivala and her sister Maureen (Reinke). Surviving are her husband and high school sweetheart, Richard "Bis", daughter Deborah (Jim) Dagley, grandchildren Tyler and Alyssa, son Michael (Wendy), grandchildren Jessica and Jordan. Sister Kathy (Dave) Sak, niece and nephews Sarah (Tony) Smith , David and Andrew. Brother in law Larry Reinke, Nephew Blake and Pam Reinke, grandniece and grandnephew Nicole and Alex. Nephew Brad and Shannon Reinke, grandnephew Carter. Pat was a ray of sunshine in everyone’s life, her wonderful personality and positive attitude will be sadly missed. Pat especially enjoyed time up north at the family cottage on Lake Mecosta, spending time with her family, friends and her faithful dogs Toby and Katy. Sunbathing, boating and nurturing magnificent flowers, both at home and at the lake were some of her favorite activities. While growing up, Pat had a real love for animals, especially her horse Tony. She attended Oakleigh grade school and was a graduate of Union high school and also attended Ferris State University. She was a business partner in Bridge Street Electric and Lighting, Bisbee Realty and AOV Self Storage. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday 11:00am at Holy Spirit Church. She will repose in church one hour prior to the funeral. Her family will receive visitors Sunday 4 to 7pm and Monday 6 to 9pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers, Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd.
