In Loving Memory of Michael Pouba Michael left us far too soon at the young age of 26. Born on July 22, 1998, he passed away unexpectedly on April 19, 2025, due to accidental injuries. A proud graduate of Rockford High School, Class of 2017, Michael went on to earn his bachelor’s degree in Business Operations & Supply Chain from Ferris State University. He was most recently employed by Columbian Logistics Network and excited about his future. Michael was a handsome young man who truly embraced life and lived it to the fullest. With an inquisitive mind and a natural curiosity, he loved figuring out how things worked. Whether it was brand new or well-used, Michael enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together—his dirt bike, snowmobile, G8, or his old Ford truck. Some projects came together quickly, others took a little more time, but Michael’s persistence never wavered. He was not afraid to ask questions, dive into YouTube tutorials, or search endlessly online until he found the answers. Michael had a deep love for the outdoors. In the winter months, you could find him snowmobiling or snowboarding, and when the weather warmed up, he was out golfing or tearing up the trails on his pride and joy—his dirt bike. His passion for riding earned him the affectionate nickname “Dirt Bike Mike” from his family. Michael’s sense of humor was truly one of a kind. His quick wit and playful nature had a way of lighting up every room, lifting spirits, and bringing joy to those around him. Above all, Michael loved his family with all his heart. He was loyal, caring, and always made time for the people he loved most. Whether he was spending time with his nephew, sharing laughs with his siblings, cousins, friends, or just enjoying quiet moments at home, Michael’s heart was always centered on family. His love was shown not just in words, but in the way he supported, encouraged, and showed up for the people closest to him. He will always be remembered for his contagious smile, his kindness, the deep respect he showed everyone, and the countless memories he leaves behind. Michael, we love you dearly, and you will always be carried close in our hearts. Michael was preceded in death by his grandparents Daniel Pouba Sr., Patricia Clark, Henry Clark, and his Uncle Michael Clark. He is survived by his loving mother Susan Clark, father Daniel Pouba, his siblings Danny Pouba and his twin brother Henry Pouba, his sister Koko and his special nephew Owen Pouba (“O-Dog”), as well as his grandmother Joyce Pouba. He also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends who will forever hold his memory close. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday April 26, 2025 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Church, 2230 Lake Michigan Dr NW. His family will receive visitors Friday April 25, 2025, from 4:00- 8:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW. and Saturday one hour prior to the Mass at church. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in to the American Heart Association /Alzheimer’s Association or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated .
