Clark Wallace Judd

Clark Wallace Judd, 76, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2025, after a short illness. Born in Olympia, Washington, on October 2, 1949, Clark spent most of his life in the Seattle area, where he developed a deep love for the outdoors and creativity. He grew up side by side with his twin brother and best friend, Craig, sharing countless adventures that helped shape his lifelong love of sailing, skiing, hiking, a good ole’ burger joint and exploring. Clark was a sailor, avid outdoorsman, and tinkerer at heart — happiest with a project in his garage, in the mountains, or behind a drum set keeping perfect time. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving honorably during the Vietnam War, and carried that pride with quiet dignity throughout his life. He is survived by his favorite daughter, Maria Kauffman (Judd), her husband Kirk Kauffman, and beloved granddaughters Eliza and Maggie, who carry on his artistic and musical spark. He is also survived by his ex-wife and friend Debborah Host-Judd; his twin brother Craig Judd and wife Linda; and his nephew Kevin (Jessica) and their daughter Harper. Clark will also be fondly remembered by many extended family members, in-laws, nieces, nephews and cousins from the Judd and Host families. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace Harold Judd and Willa Jane (Smith) Judd. Those who knew Clark will remember his easy smile, his quick humor, and the warmth he brought into every room. Even during times of pain and illness, he found ways to laugh and show gratitude — often joking and smiling with his care team until the very end. The family will receive guests on Thursday, November 6th, at Arsulowicz Brothers Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Road NW, Grand Rapids, Michigan. Visitation will begin at 3:00 p.m., followed by a service at 4:00 p.m. Additionally, the family is planning a service in Seattle on Saturday July 18, 2026.
