Virginia Ann (Frank) Lytle, 86, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2022, with her children at her side. Ginny was born in Philadelphia, PA on August 25, 1935 to Arthur and Margaret (Innis) Frank. She spent her formative years in Bexley, Ohio and always had a connection with the town and her former classmates, attending the Bexley High School Class of ’53 reunions whenever she could. She married James Lytle in 1962 and they raised their family in Grand Rapids, MI. Jim preceded her in death in 1977 and in 1991 she married Norman Miller and moved back to Bexley, where they lived for 20 years. She returned to Michigan upon his death in 2013. Ginny was active in the community as a volunteer at multiple school and sporting events, serving for the booster clubs and concession stands as her children were growing up. She was a member of the Red Cross “Gallon Club” donating every 56 days as long as she was able, donating close to 20 gallons in her lifetime. People will remember Ginny for her friendly, quick wit and contagious laugh. She always knew what to say! She loved sports, especially her beloved Ohio State Buckeyes. OSU figured into many of the shenanigans experienced by Ginny and Jim with their ”Godwin Gang” in the 1970’s! Many stories have come from that era. Ginny is survived by her children, Stacey (Dominic) Foley of Saline, MI and Robert Lytle of Grand Rapids, MI; grandchildren Benjamin, Christopher, Elizabeth and Mitchell Foley and Allison Blank, and great-grandchild, Donovan Foley. She was preceded in death by her sister, Jayne Hatfield. A Memorial service will be held Friday June 10, 2022 11:00 am at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary , 3525 Remembrance Rd NW, Walker, MI 49534 where her family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Donations in her memory may be made to Yorkshire and Stonebridge Manors in Walker, MI.
