Mrs. Shirley Mae Lappley (Dolphin) Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mrs. Shirley Mae Lappley (Dolphin), age 96, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her children Friday January 21, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald. Surviving are: her children Nancy Lappley, Jim (Amy) Lappley, Pamela (Dennis) Freas and Patricia Lappley-Dulyea (William Freeman); her grandchildren Cheri Rosales, Tara Lappley, Angie Herren, Samantha Dulyea, Elizabeth Dohm; 4 great grandchildren; her brother Robert (Jean) Dolphin; many nieces and nephews. Mom enjoyed her Thursday night outings with her girlfriends at the Elk’s Lodge up until the last few months. A special thank you to her long-time friend Patricia Hohs. Shirley was a beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who loved her family and will be deeply missed by them. She really enjoyed having a good time and was always up for anything fun, especially going to the casino. Shirley was a long time member of St. Mary’s Church and St. Anthony of Padua. The Mass of Christian of Burial will be celebrated Thursday January 27 at 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Church, where she will repose one hour prior to the Mass. Her family will receive visitors Wednesday January 26 from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM at Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW, where the Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 7:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Faith Hospice. A special thank you to Mom’s nurse Mandy and Dr. Dozeman, whose support and caring we couldn’t do without.
