Mr. Ronald J. Ford Sr. age 78 of Grand Rapids went to be with the Lord on Tuesday December 14, 2021. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 59 years Nancy Jo Ford (Kent); his sons Ronald (Rose) Ford Jr., Randy (Judy) Ford, Rob (Shelly) Ford, Rich (Lauri) Ford; his grandchildren Ryan (Laura) Ford, Kevin (Denise) Ford, Michael (Brittany) Ford, Russell (Samantha) Ford, Taylor (Nick) Brasch, Justin Ford, Chris Ford, Jeff Ford, Cassie Ford (fiancé Eli Hirdes), Nick (Alyssa) Ford, Marcus (Shelby) Ford and Josh Ford; his great grandchildren Logan and Madi Ro Ford, Shelby and Leland Ford, Mia Rose Ford, Vincent and Jackson Ford, Carter and Hailee, Baker Ford; his siblings Russell (Jan) Ford, Kathie McFarlin, Rick (Ruth Ann) Ford; brother in law Tom (Barb) Kent; several nieces and nephews. Ron was a member of the Teamsters Local 406, he drove for many years with Thornapple Valley and retired from Holland Motor Freight in the year 2000. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed fishing, playing Texas Holdem spent many years coaching youth sports and attending his sons sporting events, while his favorite entertainment was watching his beloved Detroit Lions. The funeral service will be held Friday at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. The family will receive visitors Friday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW.
