Richard (Dick) Wozniak age 77, passed away very unexpectedly on October 9, 2020 from an apparent heart attack while on a brief vacation in the U.P. The motel staff found him on the floor, after he exited the shower. He is the son of Polish immigrants, his father Charles his mother Stella and brother David, all of whom passed away in the last two to three decades. Dick never married and had few relatives left except his cousin John Lupciuk. Per his wish cremation has taken place by R. Galer Funeral Home in the St. Ignace MI area. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. He had a long time career retiring from the Kent County Airport. He attended St. Adalbert’s grade school and graduated from Catholic Central High School. He served a full term in the U.S. Navy before retiring in Grand Rapids. Please say your prayers in private or any Mass due to having no services.
