Patricia A. Judis (Szynkowski) age 84 of Howard City went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home after fighting a battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley G. Judis, her parents Stephen and Stella Szynkowski, brother Steve (Pat) Szynkowski and sister Marcia (Richard) Mercer. Pat will be deeply missed by her children Mark (Nora) Judis, Sue Judis, Janet (Jeff) Kissell, Gary (Melissa) Judis, and Scott (Michelle) Judis. She left behind 13 grandchildren (Luke, Dominick, Zachary, Jacob, Jessica, Grant, Wyatt, Ashley, Jordan, Jonathan, Robert, Deven, and Jaxson) and five great grandchildren (Dasia, Mia, Warren, Findlay and Elijah) and many nieces and nephews. Pat and Stan were married for 55 years. They lived in Belmont for 30 years and attended mass at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary church. They moved to Howard City in 1993 and were members of Christ the King-St Frances de Sales parish. Pat had many friends in Belmont and Howard City. She worked as a secretary at Kent County Road Commission, Wolverine World Wide and retired from Amway. Faith was foremost in Pat’s life followed by family. Her favorite pastime was bingo, B I N G O! She also loved fishing with her dad, camping, bowling, playing cards, crocheting, baking and going to casinos. She enjoyed many days at the cabin in Irons, Michigan where Stanley grew up and some of his family retired. The family will receive visitors on Wednesday December 1st, from 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm at Christ the King Church, 9596 Reed Rd, Howard City where a Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 pm and on Thursday, December 2nd from 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking Avenue NW where a Rosary will be prayed at 8:30 pm. The Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, December 3rd at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary church in Belmont. Visitation will be held from 10-11 prior to the mass. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
