Mark Lawrence Bacon
December 31, 1956 - May 5, 2022
Mark Lawrence Bacon died peacefully in his sleep and went to be with our Lord and Savior Thursday May 5, 2022, at the age of 65. Mark was born New Year's Eve, 1956. He was a graduate of Comstock Park High School and attended classes at Davenport College. Family was always at the forefront for him. Anyone who knew him, knew how much they were loved by him. Mark was a jokester, and his jokes will carry on for many years. Mark has overcome many health issues in life and has proven to be a fighter. At the age of 16, he had a cerebral hemorrhage that resulted in six months of being in a coma. Mark was blessed to have overcome this and was able to complete schooling and move on to other special events in his life. Unfortunately, Mark suffered several other brain injuries later in life, and was cared for by many amazing health providers over the years. Mark is survived by his mother Maxine Bacon, brother Douglas Bacon, and sister-in-law Christina. His nephews and nieces include Corey Adams, Zeb Gillon’s, Mitch Pienta (Jade), Jake Bacon (Keanna), and Karen Bare (Joshua), Carter Bacon. He had several cousins and great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Bacon, and sister Julie Gillons. A Memorial Service will be held at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance chapel on Tuesday May 10, 2022, at 11:00AM where the family will greet visitors one hour prior. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Heartland Hospice.
