Malcolm Mark Fenton Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Malcolm Mark Fenton, age 66, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 26, 2022. He was surrounded by family and friends following a brief time in hospice care. Malcolm will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 41 years, Mara Matthews Fenton who he met at MSU where he was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. He is also survived by his beautiful children, Sara (Wes) Ridlon, Alex Fenton, and Trey Fenton, his adored and adorable grandchildren, twins, Knox and Penelope Ridlon, sisters Joy Fenton, Elsiegay Fenton Hertzel and sister-in-law and close friend, Moni (Tom) Franks. Malcolm’s memorable sense of humor and accomplishments as a cook, piano player and conversationalist made him a favorite at any social gathering. Visitation with family and friends will be on Thursday, June 2nd at the Arsulowicz Brothers East Mortuary, 937 Michigan St. NE from 4-7 PM. A Celebration of Malcolm’s Life will be held on Friday, June 3rd at 4 PM at Keystone Community Church, 655 Spaulding Ave, SE, Ada. Reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to SpringGR, an organization close to Malcolm’s heart.
