Karen Anne Lewis

January 20, 1965 - January 16, 2022

Karen Anne Lewis (56) of West Michigan, passed away peacefully with her family at her side after a five year battle with cancer. Karen went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on January 16, 2022, just four days shy of her 57th birthday. She is survived by her father, Roger (Judy) Szczepanski and mother, MaryAnne Schuur. Uncle Larry (Cherie) Szczepanski. Siblings, Matt (Dawn) Szczepanski, Terry (Pam) Szczepanski, Sue (Don) Johnson, Deb (Dave) Tronovich, Patty (Terry) Sandee, Kathy (Bob) Kramer. Her husband of 29 years, Rick Lewis, her son Kyle (Rhiannon) Lewis, daughter Kirsten Lewis and stepdaughter, Danielle (Brett) Stephens. Her beloved grandchildren; Kaili, Kason, Knox and Kash Lewis, Emory and Elaina Stephens. As well as many nieces,nephews and cousins. Karen was a 1983 graduate of Kenowa Hills High School. She worked at Pridgeon and Clay for 22 years before retiring from Accelerated Tooling in 2019. Karen loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and friends. She enjoyed hosting gatherings, caring for her fur babies and serving others. More than anything else, Karen enjoyed being a devoted wife, mother and grandma. A celebration of life will be held from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm Friday, February 18th at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Chapel, 3525 Remembrance Rd N.W. Grand Rapids , MI 49534. Visitation prior to the funeral will be from 10:00am - 11:00am Saturday, February 19th with a Memorial Mass directly following at Holy Redeemer Parish 2700 Baldwin St Jenison, MI 49428.
