Judith Rubleski (Cartwright) (Pierzchala) age 83 of Grand Rapids loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed from this life on Saturday December 28, 2024. Judith was preceded in death by Blain Cartwright and Anthony Rubleski; her parents Valentine and Jennie Pierzchala; her siblings Valentine “Butch” Pierzchala, Kathy Magrell, Anthony Pierzchala, Christina Stankus. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Craig Cartwright, Valerie (Matthew) Salinas and Courtney (Jerry) Ritsema; her grandchildren Matthew Cartwright, Jarryd Mello, Isabella Salinas, Madyson Salinas, Alexandra Gulledge, Blain Mutschler, Christian Mutschler; her great grandchildren Makayla Gulledge, Annabelle Mutschler, Elleanna Mutschler, Sienna Mutschler; her siblings Joseph (Linda) Pierzchala, Marie (Ralph) Workman, Helen (Tom) Erickson, Arlene (David) Miller, Jerry (Jeannie) Pierzchala, Sue (Jim) Orlikowski, Bob (Sonya) Pierzchala; sister-in-law Jennie Pierzchala; brother-in-law Gary Stankus; Andy Martin; many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Judy graduated from Catholic Central High School in 1957. She then graduated from Evans Business College. Judy was a stay at home mom during her children’s formative years. She then worked in the office of DeepDale Memorial Gardens in Lansing, then served as office manager with Graceland Memorial Park and Mausoleum in Grand Rapids and lastly retiring from the David Carrier Law Office. She enjoyed her volunteer work with Spectrum Health Guild serving in many areas of the hospital, the KDL Library at 5 Mile Rd, and with St. Jude Church where she helped with funeral lunches and was lovingly known as “The Cookie Lady”. She would befriend all whom she encountered and had an engaging personality. Fun and Lighthearted with a laugh that was contagious. Judy enjoyed traveling with North Country Tours. She loved her entire family and devoted her life to goodness. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday January 2, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Jude Catholic Church, Judith will repose at the church one hour prior to the Mass. Her family will receive visitors Wednesday January 1, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Rd NW where the Rosary will be prayed Wednesday at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions to St. Jude Church or Helen Devos Children’s Hospital will be appreciated.
