Tributes

Henry E. Smith age 87 of Grand Rapids went to his heavenly home on Thursday July 21, 2022. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Patricia Kay Smith. Surviving are his children Donald Smith, Deb (Joe) Morello, Dennis (Sue) Smith, Gerald (Julie) Smith, Brian (Sara) Smith; his 10 grandchildren Emily Smith, Andy (Sandy) Morello, Natalie (Scott) Stubblefield, Travis (Rachel) Smith, Erik Smith, Brandon Smith, Jared Smith, Brittany Smith, Keagan (Emma) Smith, Jaylyn (Sidney) Coleman; 6 great grandchildren; his brother Bernie (Doris) Smith; sister in law Eleanor Smith; brothers in law Dennis (Annette) King, James (Juanita) King, Bill (Marge) King; sister in law Eileen Kelley; many nieces and nephews. Henry served his country in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Henry was a member of the Teamsters for over 30 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing but most of all his grandchildren. The Mass of Christian burial and committal service will be celebrated Wednesday July 27 at 11:00 am at St. Michaels Church, Coopersville. (He will repose at the church one hour prior to the Mass) Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. His family will receive visitors Tuesday July 26 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW where a Prayer Service will be held Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
