Mrs. Eleanor " Ellie" E. Polanic

Mrs. Eleanor “Ellie” E. Polanic (Kottke) age 91 of Comstock Park entered eternal life surrounded by her family on Thursday March 24, 2022. Eleanor was preceded in death by her husband Robert “Bob” and her granddaughter Lynsey Polanic. Eleanor is survived by her children Mike and Julie Polanic, Rick and Cindy Polanic, Mary and Bryan Richards, Bill and Deb (Richter) Polanic; thirteen grandchildren Holly (Rick) Cole, David (Christine) Polanic, Michelle Polanic (Don Nowicki), Stephanie (Joel) Ensing, Maria (Adam) Renico, Daniel Polanic, Matthew (Danielle) Richards, Kristine (Andrew) Sasak, Jennifer Richards, Anthony (Miranda) Richards, Kathryn (Mitchell) Muir, Thomas Polanic (Tyler Jacques) and Robert (Jennifer) Polanic; fourteen great grandchildren and four nieces. Ellie will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Eleanor was a longtime active member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and recently a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday March 29 at 11:00 am at Holy Spirit Catholic Church 2230 Lake Michigan Dr. NW, with Fr. John Vallier and Fr. Mark Peacock officiating. Her family will receive visitors one hour prior to the Mass. Burial will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Her family will receive visitors Monday March 28 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW where the Rosary will be prayed Monday 7:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Catholic Secondary Schools.
