    Doris Ann Gustinis

    November 3, 1921 - February 17, 2022

Doris Ann Gustinis, at the amazing age of 100, passed away peacefully with her loving family at her side Thursday February 17, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Bert and Jennie Brewer, husband Fred Gustinis, son Jeffrey Gustinis, one grandchild and several great and great-great grandchildren. Doris will be lovingly remembered by her surviving children; Patricia (Ed) Miller, Susan (Donald) Rosendall, Janey (Dennis Jr.) Bunn, Timothy Gustinis, Gregory Gustinis, Jennifer (Jeffrey) Travis; her daughter in-law Maria Gustinis Dahlke; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and great-great-great grandchildren. During her long life she was able to enjoy her eighteen grandchildren and three generations of great grandchildren. Doris was a proud member of the Odd Fellows Rebekah’s, Fraternal Order of the Eagles #301& #3430 since 1959 and American Legion Auxiliary Post 459 since 1965. She really enjoyed being a member of the Eagles drill team with her daughter Susan and attending conventions. She proudly shared her English and Scottish heritage. In true fashion she enjoyed drinking hot tea throughout the day and quite often with family members. Doris always made sure her loved ones were taken care of and in safe hands. When she had free time, which was seldom, she enjoyed playing the violin and organ. She found pleasure playing the organ alongside her grandchildren. Doris was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Parish faithfully attending church services until her later years. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday February 24 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Parish, where she will repose one hour prior. Interment Rosedale Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors Wednesday February 23 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking Ave NW where a time of sharing will be held followed by a Rosary which will be prayed Wednesday at 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Faith Hospice. Special thanks to Faith Hospice for their compassionate care.
