Mr. Donald W. Frederick Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mr. Donald W. Frederick age 74 of Rockford went to be with the Lord on Monday March 28, 2022. He will be deeply missed by his loving and devoted wife of 53 years Janet M. Frederick (Belrose); his sister Mary Lou (Steve) Vriezema; sisters and brothers in law Gwen (William) Petroski, Dale Belrose, James (MaryAnn) Belrose, Patricia (Byron) McCallum, Michael Belrose, Joyce (Kevin) Rademacher, Roger (Shirley) Umstead; many nieces, nephews and cousins. Don was preceded in death by his parents Walter Joseph and Helen Rita (Dzierwa) Frederick; his mother in law and father in law Grace Geraldine (Lankfer) and Russell George Belrose; his sister in law and brothers in law Ruth (Dennis “Doc”) Doster, Benjamin Belrose. Don began his career as an elementary teacher and later was self-employed as a house painter. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed gardening and just being outdoors. A devout Catholic he was a longtime member of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary Church, Belmont. The Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Friday April 1 at 11:00 am at The Assumption of the Blessed Mary Church, Belmont where he will repose from 10:00 to 11:00 am. Interment will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery. The family will receive visitors Thursday March 31 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW where the Rosary will be prayed Thursday at 8:00 pm. Memorial contributions to Assumption BVM Church, Belmont or the Catholic Relief Services.
