Denise Marie Bajdek Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Denise Marie Bajdek (nee Tobin), 64, peacefully went to her Lord and Savior on June 7, 2022. She was preceded in death by her parents Dennis & Judith (Holland) Tobin; siblings Timothy Tobin & Barbara Mason; father-in-law & mother-in-law Jerome "Tiger" & Helen Bajdek. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Kirk; son and daughter-in-law Dennis Bajdek & Tera Griffin; daughter and son-in-law Becky and Tim Hoebeke; grandchildren Hayden, Leah, Leo and Dylan; siblings Kevin Tobin, Tom Tobin; also, Nancy Tobin and Ken Mason; sisters & brothers-in-law Jeanne Penoyar, Steven Bajdek, Barbara Rau, Tony Bajdek & Karen Baldwin; and special friends and travelling partners Richard & Cheryl Robrahn, and many other family and friends she wholeheartedly loved. Denise attended St. James Catholic School and was of the Class of West Catholic 1976. After raising her family as an at-home mom, she worked at Noordyk Business Equipment for 23 years and retired in Dec. 2019. Denise and Kirk are long-time members of Encounter Community Church in Belding, MI and were charter members of the church planting team established 2007. Denise also served on a short-term mission trip to eastern Europe in 2006 as a member of Daybreak Church in Hudsonville, MI. Her loves were travelling, boating, the beach, crocheting, theatre, and all the arts; and most of all spending time with family. Hosting family gatherings was a great joy for her, with the more the merrier. She enjoyed watching sports and was a Michigan State & Detroit Tigers fan. Her special love was caring for her grandchildren and watching them play baseball, softball, and basketball. Her family will receive visitors Monday June 13, 2022 from 2:00 pm-4:00 pm and 6:00 pm- 8:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday June 14, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home where her family will receive visitors one hour prior.
