Trevor Lee Block

Trevor Lee Block, 31, fell into Jesus’s arms on July 20, 2019. Trevor knew the Lord and now is resting with angels. Trevor was born and raised in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He grew up with a mechanical mind. He was always fixing motors, from toasters to cars! He loved to tinker. His mechanical mind had him gravitate towards dirt bikes, go carts, snowmobiles and four-wheelers. At the age of 12, he joined the Kids on Quads racing team and taking 1st in state and 7th in the national. He loved big trucks, the bigger the better! This was only the beginning of a lifetime mechanics career. In high school, Trevor played football and loved being the line man. This could be where his nick name came from, “Beasty Block”. He dabbled in student council as president of his freshmen class. He graduated from Northview High School in 2006. Trevor’s circle of friends was always growing. He never missed an opportunity to meet new people. He was very personable, friendly, and funny. Everybody loved Trevor’s big bear hugs that you could feel to your feet! Trevor loved people and life, you were only a stranger once! Family was Trevor’s number one priority. He loved to help his family anyway he could. His greatest joy was his family with Chelsey, Graedyn and Easton. What a proud day when Easton Lee was born. Chelsey spoiled him with her love, cooking, and fashion sense. He was the most happy with his little family. They meant the world to him. Trevor was preceded in death by his grandfathers’ August Block and John Spruit. He is survived by his parents Michael Block and Julie Block, sister Rachelle Block, brother Michael John Block (Kristina), and two nephews Emory Block and Brady Block. Grandparents Wanda Spruit and Kira Block. The love of his life Chelsey Tice and sons Graedyn Kole and Easton Lee. Godparents Peter and Susan Krupp and special family friends The Nyblad family, many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The funeral service will be held Friday at 10:30 AM at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW. The family will receive visitors Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the funeral home. Private interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery. Rest in peace Trevor Lee, till we meet again.
