Cheri Louise (Foreman) Dressler

In loving memory of Cheri Louise (Foreman) Dressler, age 77, who passed away on Sunday March 23, 2025 She is survived by her devoted husband Richard “Mike” Dressler, loving daughters Kimberly (David) Loperena, Angela (Gary) Humble and Cathyrn (Steven) Rudolph, brother William “Bill” Foster and 7 grandchildren (Donovan, Dalen, Dominic, Jeffrey, Ryan, Madison and Kaiden). She was preceded in death by her parents, Violet (Oros) and Warren Foreman, brother, James “Jim” Foreman and sister, Patricia (Foreman) Lemmon. Cheri and Mike both born in Grand Rapids, MI met in their early 20s and fell in love. Once love struck, they were off to Mt. Clemens, MI to start their life and family together. Work and wanderlust gave them the opportunity to live and travel not only inside Michigan but across the world. Together they had the opportunity to experience Mexico, Central and South America, Europe and multiple states within the United States. Cheri was a kind and caring person who often put the needs of her family first. She was a strong woman who faced every challenge and adventure in her life with courage and a can-do attitude. She was always willing to help a friend or family member, provide a shoulder to cry on, fix something in the house, make a meal or even crochet a blanket or baby hat for the local hospital. She was a woman of strong beliefs who instilled in her daughters the importance of family, hard work, a clean house, and always doing the right thing. Cheri’s family would like to express their gratitude to all the staff at Green Acres and Faith Hospice for the loving care they provided to Cheri in her last years. They always greeted Mike and our family with smiles, a hello and answered their multitude of questions any time of the day. Cheri, you will always be in our hearts and will never be forgotten. We love you so much. Rest in peace. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Saturday April 5, 2025 at 11:00 am at St. Anthony of Padua Church. Her family will receive visitors Friday April 4, 2025 from 4:00-pm – 6:00 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd. NW and Saturday one hour prior to the Mass at church. Cheri, Mike and daughters ask that instead of sending flowers to please consider making a donation to the Dementia Society of America (www.dementiasociety.org) or Faith Hospice (www.faithhospicecare.org) in Cheri’s name
