Mrs. Charlotte Arsulowicz (Nee Kalisz)

Mrs. Charlotte H. Arsulowicz age 99 and 7 ½ months, was welcomed into heaven on Wednesday, August 26, 2015, by her Lord Jesus Christ and husband John and son John Jr. Surviving are her dear children; Barbara (Bill) Ring, Dr. Daniel (Elaine) Arsulowicz, Marybeth (Lloyd) Westby, Grandchildren; Jeff (Lori) Ring, Todd (Diane)Ring, Becky (Tom) Farr, Mary Beth (Ken) Frey, Amy (Jerry) Perry, J. J. (Dana) Arsulowicz, Chad Arsulowicz, Brittany (James) Watkins , Dan (Jodi) Arsulowicz Jr., Michelle (Brian) Olszewski, Melissa (Ron) Gorman, Andy Westby, Michael Westby, Dr. Courtney (Justin) Thenn, great grandchildren Kaleigh and Lucas Ring, Andrew and Andrea Ring, T.J., Joey and Katie Farr, Michael and Billy Frey, Calista (Jacob) Chrysler, Jared and Jaylee Perry, Kolton Watkins, Joshua, Noah and Emma Arsulowicz, Allyson and Connor Olszewski, Makenzie and Lainey Gorman, Titus Thenn, and very soon to be, Lottie Joy Thenn, great great grandchildren; Jordan, Cayden and Kenadie Chrysler, sister-in-law Josephine Kalisz, many nieces and nephews and two special nieces Diane Bobo and Nancy Geoghegan and her constant companion “dog Abby”. She was formerly active at various societies at Basilica of St. Adalbert and Mt. Mercy Academy and a member of various organizations including Women’s City Club. Golf was her passion, she was quite an avid golfer at Lincoln, the Elks and Women’s City League. She had a menagerie of trophies and awards that are too many to mention. Charlotte fed her birds (especially hummingbirds) and the squirrels daily. Her zest for walking which began as a child, was vital to her daily life. Mushrooming with her family in the fall was an annual rite of passage and gin rummy in the evening was a daily occurrence with her husband and often times her children. Charlotte had a cabin up north where she spent almost every weekend. That peaceful environment was total relaxation for her. When she fished with her cane pole, she caught her fair share of blue gills and frequently out fished those around her. Most of all, she loved and cherished her family. Her life was an example and an inspiration to all of them. Their love for her equalled her love for them. A Funeral procession will leave the funeral home Monday at 10:30 for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at the Basilica of St. Adalbert. Her family will receive visitors Saturday 7-9 pm and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd NW with a Rosary to be prayed Sunday at 7:00 pm. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Discalced Carmelite Monastery of Parnell, Basilica of St. Adalbert Restore the Glory Campaign or St. Ann’s.
